Volunteering with Habitat for Humanity Las Vegas
Volunteers are the heart of Habitat Las Vegas. Thousands of volunteers lend a hand to build, renovate and repair homes with us each year. Habitat Las Vegas bring together individual and group volunteers to ensure that everyone can live in decent, affordable and sustainable housing. We invite you to help on our construction sites, in our Restores, during our special events or behind the scenes in our offices!
Whether you're an Individual, Corporate Team, Community/faith-based group, Veteran, or just a handful of friends, there are many different ways for you to volunteer.

Habitat Las Vegas hosts all manner of groups. We invite groups to participate in our Team/Corporate Builds. Groups larger than 10 individuals can sponsor their build day for a moderate cost. The perks are: choice of build day, all members (up to 20) guaranteed a slot to build, and lunch is provided. This donation also helps Habitat Las Vegas build more homes by offsetting construction costs and enabling us to provide professional supervision and safety equipment for volunteers. If you are interested in reserving a group build day, please contact the Volunteer Coordinator to fill out a group interest form.
Dress in weather appropriate clothing that you can work in and get dirty. Closed-toe, sturdy shoes are mandatory! Hiking boots and sneakers are okay if you do not have work boots.
At this time, court-ordered community service is not available on our work sites.
First time volunteers are asked to register on our website where you will complete a simple online registration at VolunteerUP. Once you have registerred, you can view the public calendar and sign-up to volunteer at one of the open events.
All volunteers are required to complete a liability waiver before volunteering. For the adult and minor liability waiver, please click here.
Volunteer Groups make up the majority of our construction site volunteers. Non-sponsor groups supplement the work of sponsoring organizations.
Groups up to 20 can be scheduled Tues-Thurs. Groups up to 10 can be scheduled on Fridays and Saturdays. Contact the Volunteer Coordinator to request a Group Interest form.
Through this initiative, Habitat provides volunteers, home ownership and employment opportunities to U.S. veterans, military service members, and their families.
