Individuals

1. Fill out the volunteer registration form below, so we can gather your information.
2. Visit our volunteer calendar link found in your registration confirmation email to view our available volunteer opportunities and sign up!
3. Review and sign our volunteer waiver and bring it with you to your volunteer activity. Volunteers under the age of 18 must have their legal guardian sign their waiver.
4. Take our Online Safety Orientation before your volunteer date. Orientation information will be provided after you have signed up for your volunteer activity.

All volunteers must be at least 16 years old to work on the construction site and ReStores, and 18 years old to volunteer at conventions. Volunteers under the age of 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian on the worksite at all times. In addition, volunteers under 18 must have a liability wavier signed by a parent or legal guardian. Individuals under the age of 16 years old may be permitted to work on off-site projects if available.

• ReStore Volunteers help clean, organize, and unpack donations made to our store so we can sell them on the floor.
  • When: Monday – Friday, 10:00am – 2:00 pm
  • Location: Sahara ReStore
• Construction Volunteers (for both A Brush with Kindness and Homeownership Programs) will help aid in fixing up homes alongside our construction team. Some examples of this include exterior painting, sealing openings with caulk, rotting roof removal, and doorbell installation.
  • When: Tuesday – Saturday, 7:30am – 2:30pm
  • Location: Varies
• Convention Volunteers help collect and load donated items from conventions and shows hosted here in Las Vegas throughout the year. Donated items can include furniture and building materials and these items will be sold in our ReStores.
• Administrative Volunteers help organize files, greet guests, rearrange our supply rooms, and any specific administrative tasks from different departments.

Yes, we do. We typically coordinate with the program’s point of contact to inform possible volunteers of the opportunities here at Habitat. Hours are logged in here and signed by the ReStore Manager.

Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate court-ordered community service at this time.
