Habitat for Humanity Las Vegas helps families build better lives through affordable housing. Our vision is to build a world where everyone has a decent place to live, which is the essence of the American dream. Together we build homes, settle families and grow a community of neighbors. We operate two ReStores in Southern Nevada. These retail stores accept donations and sell new and gently-used home improvement goods, furniture, home accessories, building materials, and appliances to the public at a fraction of the retail price. The Director of ReStore Operations is accountable for the overall business performance of multiple Las Vegas retail locations ensuring all activities are in alignment with the organizational goals, policies and procedures, and mission. This position is directly responsible for the development, implementation, monitoring and review of the annual retail strategic plan that maximizes the retail net profit by driving sales and controlling costs; building motivated and high performing teams; overseeing the visual aesthetics of the stores and ensuring a seamless and enjoyable customer experience.
EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS

High School Diploma required, Associate degrees or higher in Business Administration or related field preferred.

Minimum 5 years retail management and retail sales experience required.

Knowledge of federal, state, and local retail related labor relations policies and guidelines.

Demonstrated leadership and vision in managing staff, major projects, and initiatives.

Ability to demonstrate knowledge in retail operations, business management, financial reporting, purchasing, sales and marketing.

Assess the urgency and importance of situations and takes appropriate action.

Ability to be proactive and work under pressure as the priorities can change quickly.

Ability to handle confidential matters, is discrete and maintains a very high level of professionalism.

Able to work cooperatively in a diverse work environment.

Ability to learn quickly and take initiative with limited direction.

REQUIREMENTS

Must possess a valid Nevada driver license, clean DMV record, reliable personal vehicle, and liability insurance.

Must be minimum 25 years of age.

Must pass background screening and drug test.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK CONDITIONS

Must be able to perform essential functions with or without accommodation.

Must be able to continuously (67%-100% of the workday) and repeatedly use fingering/fine dexterity, wrist motion, flex wrist, grasp/squeeze, handling/gross dexterity, reach at shoulder or below, hear, talk, and sit.

Must be able to frequently (34% - 66% of the workday) reach above shoulder, stoop, kneel, balance, bend, twist body, walk and stand.

Must be able to occasionally lift, carry push, or pull a minimum of 50lbs.

Near vision, midrange vision, far vision, depth perception, color vision, field of peripheral vision is frequently (34-66% of the workday) required.

Occasionally (1-33% of the workday) required environmental conditions, dust, exposure to weather, extreme cold, extreme heat, and loud noises.

May be required to work evenings and weekends.
