Program Qualifications

Habitat for Humanity Las Vegas builds brand homes from the ground up. Habitat houses are made affordable for qualifying, low-income families to purchase with a 0% Fixed Interest home loan, mortgage payments based on income, and no down payment required.

Family Type

  • Whether you are an individual applying alone, a married couple with children, a single parent, or an extended family, we welcome your family to apply.

  • Married couples are required to apply together.

U.S Citizenship

  • All family members must be U.S. Citizens or Legal Permanent Residents. 

    Married couples are required to apply together.

  •  A United States passport, birth certificate, or Permanent Resident Card is required to provide proof of legal residency.

Las Vegas Resident

  • In order to qualify for the program, you must be a Clark County resident for the past 12 months or longer.

  • You must not have owned a home in the past 3 years. 

Income Requirements

  • Applicant must be in between 30%-80% AMI (Area Median Income) based on the current HUD (U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development) income limitations**. Families whose monthly income is not within the income qualification range will not qualify.

**HUD income limits change on an annual basis. AMI is calculated based on the HUD income limits in effect when homeownership applications are being evaluated.
